On 9th October it was a pleasure to welcome year six from Kingsfleet School to explore as part of their RE curriculum the question of how do Christians show their belief that Jesus is God incarnate?
Throughout the morning the children had an opportunity to investigate the symbols inside and outside the church. We then looked at a presentation showing the variety of ways we as a church seek to live out our faith in the light of the truth of Jesus being God incarnate.
After some refreshments and a brief break we then attempted to explore some of the excellent questions the children had raised, such as how can Jesus be fully God and fully human? and where did God originally come from?
The children were very engaged and as always asked thought provoking questions and it is a pleasure to be able to support our local schools.
