Old Felixstowe Parish Nursing service is going from strength to strength.

Helen received her Parish Nursing qualification in August and Ruth has achieved her Parish Nursing Assistant qualification too.

The service achieved full accreditation from Parish Nursing Ministries UK in September. Many thanks to the team for all their hard work in this.

Helen attended the Parish Nursing symposium in October focusing on resilience and compassion. It was very challenging, but also fantastic to meet with Parish Nurses from across the country.

Ann Young is due to start her Parish Nursing training next month and it’s been a joy to welcome her to the team.

We continue to run monthly drop in sessions at both churches, Margery Girling and Monday fellowship and weekly drop ins at the pop up shop. Look out for a monthly list on display in both churches.

As well as the regular sessions, Helen visits people at home as requested helping with advice and signposting. Helen has been involved in developing relationships with the local health services and council, particularly in helping

organising a Health Fayre in March next year - watch this space! The team were also present at the Grove surgery for one of their vaccination mornings.

Please continue to pray for the team that we listen to God and do the things He has planned for us.

We would very much like to have a group of people who pray regularly for us. You could do this at home or with a friend. We would provide monthly prayer points.

Please let us know if this is something you feel God prompting you to.  Many thanks for all your support.

Helen and the team.
