In May I was asked by Bishop Martin if I would be prepared to serve as Rural Dean for Colneys’ Deanery, following the departure of Rev Paul Clarke. After prayer and reflection I agreed to take on this role for a year and will review the post with Archdeacon Rich in 12 months.

In order to take on this role I am intending to temporarily step back from some of my other responsibilities outside the parish, to ensure the new position is sustainable along with my parish and family commitments. I am thankful as always for the prayer support I receive from so many within the congregation.
